Company Profile
A commercial bridge between the Great Lakes Region's mining communities and the international buyers who depend on them.
A regional bridge for the 3Ts
Westfield Minerals Ltd is a mineral sourcing, trading, and supply facilitation company operating across the Great Lakes Region. We are engaged in the sourcing, aggregation, and trade facilitation of strategic 3T minerals (Tin, Tungsten, and Tantalum), with a focus on connecting responsible local producers to international buyers across regional and global markets.
We provide effective solutions to ensure stability across the supply and settlement chain. Our customer focus is built on reliable, collaborative, long-term partnerships, underpinned by a commitment to environmental sustainability, ethical sourcing, and full chain-of-custody compliance.
Ethical sourcing, built on documentation
Westfield Minerals Ltd is dedicated to connecting responsible mineral producers across the Great Lakes Region with international buyers, providing the highest quality of strategic 3T minerals - Tin, Tungsten, and Tantalum - and related supply chain services. We offer every partner direct, personal attention, ensuring full supply chain stability, transparency, and satisfaction.
Our commitment runs in both directions: fair, assay-based pricing and technical support for the miners who produce the ore, and verified purity, traceability, and reliable delivery for the buyers who purchase it.
Ensuring a stable, transparent, and conflict-free supply of strategic 3T minerals from the Great Lakes Region is our primary mission.
Why local value addition matters
The Great Lakes Region's tin mining industry dates back to operations established under German and later British administration, and much of it stood idle for decades afterward.
The Great Lakes Region sits among the largest tin-ore producing zones in Africa, encompassing Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, and the DRC, yet for years extraction across the region was limited to raw ore export to Europe and Asia - with finished products like tin solder imported back for sale in the same local markets that produced the raw material.
Responsible Sourcing & Supply Chain Stability
Westfield Minerals serves as a strategic regional bridge, bringing stability, transparency, and reliability to the 3Ts commodity supply chain across the Great Lakes Region. By integrating ethical trading practices, direct personal attention, and rigorous chain-of-custody controls, we ensure a fair market for regional miners and a dependable, conflict-free supply of industrial minerals for global buyers.
